COOKIN' STU - Episode 6

“What is Cookin’ Stu?” you may ask… It’s where Dune-esque film scores meet Pinterest quotes. Where 808s collide with the sound of a lively crowd... and somehow land in house music. This week, we threw together another wild mix of artists and ended up with (you guessed it) a full-on cacophony of sounds. Three studios, completely different vibes, and somehow, it all came together.

George Ariza is an artist/producer out of Long Island New York. He plays multiple instruments including Saxophone, Bass, Keyboards and Guitar. George grew up playing gigs with his father in restaurants and clubs in the Long Island and NYC area and has been producing Trap, RnB and Pop music since 2018. As a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music, George is ready to work on the gig, or in the studio!

Chiara Elgold is a French, Boston based singer, songwriter and producer. Growing up in Paris, her passion for music has always been a part of her journey. She started studying music at the conservatory at the age of five, before being a member of the 'Aposiopee' choir for many years. In 2020, she was discovered in the seventh season of The Voice Kids France, where she made it to the semi-finals. Chiara is now studying Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music, exploring both her artistry and her love for production and collaboration. She released her first single 'Blind By Design' in February of 2024, and more recently came out with the Live Session of her song 'Make Me A Tree'. She is currently working on her future releases, a blend of dream pop, folk and cinematic sounds.

Brazilian American Aysha Luzia is dedicated to embodying the essence of her birth name through her artistry: finding the light in life. Stevie Wonder said it…life is Aysha. She's directed and performed in productions from solo acts, trios, and big bands to acapella groups and musicals; these experiences have shaped the kind of artist she is today. As well as bringing an infectious energy on stage, Aysha Luzia shares her style in the studio as a songwriter and producer. She mixes her cultural background and different styles of R&B, Jazz, and Folk to draw inspiration in her original music. In addition to her jazz performances in and around the Boston area, she manages production and media for a Boston based orchestra, utilizing every facet of her musical abilities.

San Trinh is a highly skilled guitarist and composer, recognized for his mastery of jazz guitar, innovative approach to contemporary music, and deep passion for improvisation. Currently in his fifth semester at Berklee College of Music, he's studying Contemporary Writing & Production, where he's further developing his artistry and expanding his musical range. San is known for blending traditional jazz with modern influences, often incorporating his love for improvisation to create dynamic and spontaneous performances. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Jimi Hendrix Award at Berklee, a testament to his talent and commitment to his craft.
